How long does the insurance claim take to be processed?
This will vary for different insurance companies and also on the severity of your claim. It has been indicated that the average lifecycle of a claim can take up to 159 days. You should be able to get an estimate from your individual insurer.
How long after the claim is approved does the work start?
As soon as the approval has been given we will contact you within 24 hours and schedule the work and give you an exact time line for the job.
Can I choose the builder that I want to do the work?
You can have some say over your choice of builders. More often than not, insurance companies have a list of preferred builders that they will recommend to you for insurance repair work.
Can we do additional repairs whilst the insurance repair is being conducted?
Yes you can. This will not be covered under the insurance claim and you will have to pay the difference between payout and total of the job.
How much is my excess and when do I pay it?
Your insurance company will let you know how much this will be. Payment is required prior to the work begining. We will organise a convenient time to collect this from you or collect during a site inspection.
